Special Note to Listeners
As of September 30th, 2002, Billy Taylor's Jazz from the Kennedy Center will no longer be in production from NPR. However, we're delighted to announce that NPR will be continuiting both its now-25-year association with the legendary Dr. Taylor, and with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Each month, NPR's JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater will bring you a great jazz performance from the Kennedy Center. Kicking off the first week of October will be the star-studded 80th birthday tribute to Dr. Taylor.

And in December, Billy Taylor himself returns to the Kennedy Center stage as the host of a live edition of NPR's celebrated holiday special, Jazz Piano Christmas. Be listening for Dr. Taylor and some of today's greatest jazz artists bring their own original keyboard interpretations of holiday classics.

Visit www.kennedy-center.org for more information on this and other Jazz from the Kennedy Center programs.
