Freddy Cole
"Sometimes it's the lyric that grabs my ear, sometimes it's the chord structure, sometimes it's both. It's like you're buying a pair of shoes."
   -- Freddy Cole
Brother of legendary pianist-vocalist Nat "King" Cole and uncle of renowned singer Natalie Cole, Freddy Cole pokes fun at himself as "the Cole nobody knows." But in a broadcast from his native Alabama, Freddy Cole proves that, in his own right, he is a unique and masterful musician who is an exemplary interpreter of ballads and has a particular affinity for the rich harmonic and melodic contours of Brazilian music.
