"Try to find a time of day where you can practice the same time everyday."
   -- Bobby Watson
Melody and the rhythmic drive of latter-day bebop are in the house on this edition of Billy Taylor's Jazz At The Kennedy Center as the maestro welcomes the ebullient alto saxophone of Bobby Watson to the Terrace Theatre. Watson, known for his soulful and vigorous alto saxophone flights, proves to be an affable and complimentary guest on this edition of the show. With Dr. Taylor's trio, Watson delivers inspired performances of Tadd Dameron's "Hot House," Bobby Timmons' "Moanin'" and his original composition "Always a Friend."
