Guitarist Freddie Bryant
"The point of music is to listen to the music and to be able to distinctly tell what's going on in the music."
   -- Freddie Bryant
Guitarist and composer Freddie Bryant joins Dr. Billy Taylor and his trio in an engaging evening of lively conversation and exquisite performances. A dynamic virtuoso, who's studied both jazz and classical guitar, Bryant has played with Wynton Marsalis, David Sanchez, Randy Brecker and Salif Keita. With Dr. Taylor's trio, Bryant lends his impeccable chops to renditions of Horace Silver's "Peace," Raymond Klages and Jesse Greer's "Just You Just Me" and his own composition "Alone."
