On this show, the multi-talented saxophonist and flutist Jane Bunnett graces the Kennedy Center stage with her brilliant musicianship. Bunnett's style on soprano saxophone has a biting citrus tone and lyrical vibrancy that evokes the sounds of greats like Sam Rivers, Steve Lacy and Wayne Shorter. She's equally compelling on flute, as she subtly draws on the vocalization techniques of Rashaan Roland Kirk and Eric Dolphy.
