Alto and soprano saxophonist Sue Terry exemplifies excellence with a commanding sense of swing and a burnished tone. Dr. Taylor welcomes her on this edition of Billy Taylor's Jazz at the Kennedy Center. With his trio, Terry demonstrates with musical prowess with rousing interpretations of Horace Silver's "Sister Sadie," Bernice Petkere and Joe Young's "Lullaby of the Leaves," Jimmy Dorsey and Gene DePaul's "Star Eyes," and Juan Tizol's "Caravan."
