I won't carry on too much about the explosion of life and color that is springtime in the Columbia Gorge; Portland property values are already off the charts. However, it would be downright negligent of me as a journalist if I did not report some of the news from my recent hike in the Oregon woods, and show you a bit of the splendor now blooming a mere 45 minutes out of town. Shhhh...
